I am going through the past.  This is real process.  Enjoy.

A letter to He-Man, written by me, illustrated by me, circa 1984.  I don't remember the last time I saw this, but I remember drawing it.

Chocolate Desert Fruit Cup with Grand Marnier

mmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMM!  I haven't made this yet but it seems so easy and tasty that I'm sure someone could use it easily and have fun. This is from the Vincent Price cookbook.  I'm not sure what restaurant it is from.  It is under the chapter for Fernand Point's Restaurant de la Pyramide but might be from the Reserve named in the desert title.  I dunno.  I claim ignorance.  Nice OCR texty version after the jump.

Ok, I guess that Wyrd Al video ain't gonna work.  And I'm too lazy to erase the post but not lazy enough to not post it off the page.

Jerm Boor - The Wooden Jukebox

Jerm Boor is someone I went to school with at St. John's College in Santa Fe.  I can be an oddly social guy for someone who claims to be anti-social, but the first weekend at St. John's was just going around, drinking, smoking, and plain meeting people.  The first weekends at college, at least when you are college age at 18/19, are just plain fun.

VinySearcher.com is the place to go if you are looking for hard to find vinyl singles of house music.  It's a UK business, but prices are pretty damn good for hard to find vinyl.  Shipping is super fast.  I ordered 5 records and they were here in a week.  Great condition.

Of course this site supposes you knew the name of the song in the first place, and that can be tough with a single you hear in the club.  It used to be fun to walk into Gramaphone Records here in Chicago and 'sing' out a couple of beats and then the guy would know exactly what you were looking for.  Or you could just play it for him off of a tape and it would be even better.

So I got two/three records I know what they sound like, and the others were just good Chicago House trax.

Ahhh, the memories of this song.  This is also a European track.  Printed in Western Germany.  So I guess this may have been printed before November 1989, if you get my historical drift.
